SEPTRE

Patrols

The Workabout dates and time stamps all scans during the course of a patrol, so the guard simply scans the location BAR CODE, then continues to the next checkpoint. The guard is able to enter any comments relating to a particular location (ie: door ajar, light bulb required). Bar codes MUST be scanned and cannot be manually entered by hand, this ensures that the system is 100% accurate and tamper-proof.

New Locations

Descriptive information on a location is recorded (ie: building name, room number and department name).

Report

SEPTRE provides a printed report that chronicles a guard's tour of duty. If you have multiple patrollers, the report can be sorted by the guard's name. Any comments recorded by the guard are also printed.

There are two versions of SEPTRE available:

1.

Handheld software – stand alone reports print directly from the Workabout with no PC needed.

2.

PC software – with the PC connection, you can download all data that has been collected from the Workabout to the PC. From the PC, you are able to print various reports: by location, guard, month etc.
